Palander's season is over 4.2.2008

Kalle Palander's leg needs an operation and his season is over.

Training session before Kitzbühel world cup was dramatic for Kalle Palander. He fell down and hurt his right leg, which had been injured earlier as well. At first injury did not seem as bad and Kalle skied in Kitzbühel and Schladming. After more specific analysis the injury was found so severe, that it needs an operation.

Palander will be operated today, February 4th in Helsinki. In his shinbone will be installed a metal laminate to protect the leg. Kalle himself is confident with operation and promises to get back on trainings with new energy as soon as possible.
