Anne-Mari Hyryläinen, Mountaineer
Anne-Mari Hyryläinen is absolutely passionate about sports and she enjoys testing her own physical and mental boundaries and pushing them further and further whenever possible.
Dearest sports are mountaineering and long distance running. Sports like cycling, swimming and kayaking are also complement by Anne-Mari's way of life. For Anne-Mari climbing is a great way of experiencing one's physical and mental capabilities in amazing natural environments.
So far Anne-Mari has been mountaineering in Mount Blanc (2007), Chulu West (2008), Kang Guru (2008), Tukuche Peak (2009), Mount Everest (2010), Mount Kenya (2011), Mount Manaslu (2011). Anne-Mari became the second ever Finnish woman to reach the summit of Everest.
Anne-Mari's future goal is to focused on summiting all 14 of the 8000m peaks in the world.
