Recycled Materials

Halti uses recycled materials in a number of garments and the number of recycled products is increasing further.

Composition:

• Entirely or partly manufactured of recycled polyester fibre
• Based on the needs of the fabric it may have been combined with other fibres

Material used in making recycled polyester:

• Used PET bottles
• Used clothes
• Industrial fibre scrap

Process:

• Material is split into molecule level
• Material is cleaned and distilled
• Material is brought back to fibre shape
• Fibre material is spun into polyester thread

Recycled Polyester Characteristics:

• As during process recycled polyester is brought back to molecule level it works as new polyester fibre
